  I really appreciate the proximity to Douglas College. It was great to be able to park my car at the hotel and walk the three blocks to the college.

  Location was perfect for our visit. But the most impressive to us was that all the housekeeping staff we encountered on the 4th floor were very nice and friendly. They should be commended!

  We found the unit for warming and air conditioning particularly loud and could not find a switch to turn it off. Otherwise everything was to our great satisfaction.

  I didn't like the fact that my room was dirty and I found black hairs in the face cloth and in the bathroom sink when I washed my face prior to retiring. In the morning I could easily see that the sheets had not been changed and that the pillow cases (one) was covered with makeup and the others were like the sheets, unchanged! it was disgusting. The floors were poorly vacummed and there were only two sheets of letter head and two envelopes in the desk drawer. In the clothes drawers the dusting was minimal and I did it myself before I put unpacked my suitcase. My husband and I usually stayed at The Met hotel - reasonable cost, extremely clean and prompt, helpful service. With respect giving me a box of chocolates was poor judgement - I'm already fat and it only showed me you didn't have a clue who the lady in 712 was and when I phoned your head housekeeper she (Grace) should have come up to the room to apologize on the hotel's behalf. I came down to attend my husband's funeral and if it wasn't such a stressful and horrible reason I would have packed my bags and left the morning after I arrived due to the terrible housekeeping.

  Very comfortable beds. Super clean room. Great balcony and view. The convenience of "The Boathouse" restaurant with amazing food, as well as "Angelina's" restaurant across the parking lot for the best breakfast. Sky train across the street, and a nice boardwalk atmosphere.

  We every part of the hotel!!!

  Although we were completely thrilled with our stay at the Inn at the Quay, we wee disappointed that there the shops and vendors were no longer at the quay!! I realize that the entire area is under revitalization but even walking up to Columbia did not provide any shopping opportunities.

  I love the board walk, all the choices for meals, so close to the rapid transit. Lots of things to see in the city. The Fraser is such a busy place, wonderful to watch all the comings and goings.

  We didn't have a mini bar, the little fridge froze our bit of food we did put in it.

  No surprises. Everything was as it was advertised.

  Was on a course at the Justice Institute. Cabs pre-arranged were mostly not. One day had to phone twice to the hotel to get a return trip and we waited for a little over an hour.
